The online world has fascinated me for a while now because I have seen people making a living off it, some becoming millionaires in the process.
I am currently a Digital Marketer , taking alot of online courses starting from fundamentals of digital marketing well that aside.
When I started my online business journey I fall victim of online scammer and scam platforms that I had lose a lot of money in the process to be sincere the money.
I lost into this scheme I can use the money to buy land and build house that aside.
Recently I have noticed so many people complaining of being scammed in their venture to make money online.
This motivated me to give out some red flag to recognize online scammers these are the things that helped me to avoid been scam in which I believe it can also help you if you pay attention to what am about to mention here
- Don’t listen to people that tell you to invest 2k and get 10k in 30 minutes. Block them immediately.
- Do not apply as an affiliate in a site that is relatively that promises monthly earnings of moneys. They are just using you to draw traffic to their website.
- Avoid entirely people that tell you “I made 3 million in two weeks ash me how”
- Be wary when dealing with digital gurus who overcharge inorder to teach you an online masterclass e.g learn forex under two weeks with 35k. No one learns forex or bitcoin under two weeks its takes years unless you will loose money because of greed.
- Avoid opening spam links sent via WhatsApp telling you to input your BVN number.
- This is very smart way to emptying your savings account.
- Never invest in a ponzi schemes. Its always ends in tears, the initial beginners might get paid in order to attract more investors. Please do not invest your money in any ponzi scheme. You will probably loose all your money. No online business guarantees huge ROI (Return On Investment) under few days. Its literally impossible.
- Do not expose your ATM card, people can shop with your ATM card even without having it with them, once they have the digits in the front of your card and the last 3 digits at the back of your ATM card.
- Do not trade crypto or anything with anyone you don’t really know on telegram groups even if the group has escrow in which you are not sure how legit they are else your money will just enter voice mail. This days self escrow don turn scammers
